Corbin was so excited when his name was drawn from the Learning Hero picnic basket. He really enjoyed his picnic with Mrs Malham and Mr O'Reilly. We'll done Corbin! You have been making some great learning choices.

Alex and Kaleb read About Mrs Wishy Washy and the farm animals. They used the story bag to help act out the story and to create this Pic Collage.

We love to read about Greedy Cat. We described him as cute and loveable even if he is a bit cheeky.

Eviana read Car Shopping. The family looked and looked for a car that was just right for them and finally they found a van. It was perfect.

Fabulous Fractions

We had a pizza to share between two friends. We cut the pizza in half but two more friends came and we had to share the pizza equally between four people. That meant 1/4 each. Four more friends came and then there were eight children all wanting an equal share of the pizza so the all got 1/8 each. YUM YUM!

We also had fun making gingerbread men. Each gingerbread man had four buttons and we had to work out what fraction of the four buttons were eg green or blue. Then the fun part, gobbling them all up!
