Discovery Day June 29 2012

At the cafe we made juice and toasted sandwiches. We learnt about floating and sinking during a Science Alive session. At Discovery Time we designed and made our own boats. We then tested them in the water trough to see if they would float. The new wooden blocks were awesome. We made rabbit hutches and pretended to be rabbits. Alexander showed determination and persistence by sawing through a big piece of wood all by himself.
