Building A Bridge With Our Buddies

The challenge was set. We had to build a bridge using only 2m of sellotape, 3m of string, 10 sheets of newspaper and 2 pieces of A4 card. The winner would be the group with the longest bridge that could hold the racing car in the middle. First we looked at a video about bridge designs then we set to work designing our bridge. Then we used our design and the materials to create a bridge. We measured the bridges and tested them to see if they could support the racing car in the middle. The longest bridge was built by Makayla and her buddies. It was 108cm long.
