Room 4's Curious Scientists

Julia showed us a photo of when she was a 1 year old. We looked at the photo and noticed that she had changed a lot. Julia is 5 years old now. We identified some things that were different. We wondered how she grew. We had lots of different ideas about growing and how it happens. Finally we had to ask our expert Julia. She told us that we needed food and sleep to grow. We thought we might need to do some more research to see if there are some other things that we need to grow.

Sam visited Waimari Beach at high tide and at low tide. After showing us his photos we wondered why the tide changes. Here our our initial thoughts.
