Team Tui Discovery Session 15 June 2012

We had an awesome Discovery Session with our Team Tui friends in Room 3 and 2. We also enjoyed having our special visitors from Lake Terrace Kindergarten. At the making table we used the hot glue guns to join driftwood, material and shells. Alexander made a sword. The cornflour gloop felt soft. It dripped and oozed between our fingers but we could also roll it up and make a ball shape. We thought about whether it was a solid or a liquid. Vegetables and fruit were put into Oscar (the juicer) and out came some yummy juice for us to have in the cafe. We also made fairy bread to have in the cafe. It was tricky deciding if we were going to cut our fairy bread into squares or triangles. Every one enjoyed the dress ups. We made houses out of the wooden blocks and tall towers from the giant plastic blocks.

Thank you to all the awesome parents and grandparents who helped out.
