Everyone Has A Role In The Community

We are learning about the different roles people have in the community and how each role is important. Team Tui had lots of visitors each with a different but important role in the community. Jasmine and her dog Sasha came from the SPCA. Jasmine told us the different ways that they help animals. She showed us some of the equipment that she uses to help the animals and to keep herself safe. Miss Muir used to be a hairdresser. She showed us how to curl and straighten hair. She made a gel spiderweb in Jakaya's hair and spiked his hair. The children looked great with their glitter hairspray. The council education team teaches people about the environment and how to take care of it. We learnt about worm farms and native birds. The Police Constables explained how they helped people and communities stay safe.
