Making A Clay Teddy With Our Buddy Class

We made a clay teddy. First we made a small ball for the head. We used another bigger piece of clay for the body. Then we rolled a piece of clay into a worm shape and cut it into 4 pieces for the arms and legs. To join them together we had to scratch each joining surface, add slip to each joining surface and smooth the join carefully. We could add ears and eyes or use a skewer to poke a shape for the eyes and the mouth. Making our clay teddy was lots of fun.
